Personal Review:
I would say the internship track is the best of both social life and actual research. I got placed at Harvard Medical School and did Radiology research at NCIGT which is the number one radiology lab in the US so I had a really good research experience and socially RISE didn't have many restrictions regarding what we were allowed to do, staying on campus, and curfews so I was able to spend a lot of time with friends over the course of 6 weeks.
Recommendation?
I would definitely recommend the program to others as it was the best summer experience I could ask for. However, my experience is unique to myself since I was placed in a really good lab and had the opportunity to conduct really good research like a lot of others at rise. But considering cost, this program costs a few grand more than some others and if that is an issue there are other programs that would be better for the cost.
